Well i'm pretty proud of this experimental piece. I made this with the intention of trying something new to my usual style, and something with an Apophysis render I had just rendered. This is the outcome and as already said - I like it.

Programs used: Apophysis 2.02 // Photoshop 7
Time taken: 1 hour (ish)

ahh yes, the spirits are rising out of the water. i can see it now. this is amazing, it is like a sparkly, loving membrane the spreads its wingspan. exceedingly impressive work, it looks like its on the moon. very very nice.

I knew what you meant by the spirit coming out the water, jus the fact that the spirit has no edges at the side makes it jus look like a random apophysis piece over some water in some ways, also i wasnt suggesting you took out the planet, jus maybe replace it, but then it might lose its effect, BAH im argueing with myself again. and yeah lol, it aint the BG, but i needed soemthing to refer it to lol, and you know what i mean when i say playing ya cards m8y

I like what you've done with the spophysis here scotty, made it bright, colours are gr8, and yeah very FF-Spirits within like. I do agree with N tho, BG does seem a bit dodgy, whilst it is cool because it looks like the surface of some alien world of sorts, it doesnt actually look like the spirits are actually rising to me, might not be what you attempted, but in some ways the land at the bottom seems just in the way. The planet in the top right is a very nice touch, i aint sure how this is a different style or what-not, still looks nice
